I was having a discussion last week with a few fellow geeks about the Internet speeds we get in our homes and or offices, so I thought I would do another measurement and post the results here. For the record, I am on Comcast Business and this was done at 8:20 in the morning. The speed test is available at http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest This was done on my MacBook laptop using the wireless connection to the Linksys WRT300N router / access point.
Not too bad at all, 23 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up. Beat that if you can.
